Zeus is the God of all other Gods. He rules the Sky and Mt. Olympus. Mt. Olympus is where the Gods live. Zeus can change into human form and come down to Earth. He does this to make sure the humans are behaving.

The Eagle is Zeus' symbol. He got this symbol because the eagle flys over the sky and watches down below just like Zeus. The Eagle is the king of the sky. Zeus is also the king of the sky.

Top 10 list Fact 1: Zeus' symbol is the thunderbolt. Zeus was fighting the Titans and Cronus and he released his brothers, Poseidon and Hades, he released the Cyclopes with them. In return, the Cyclopes gave Zeus the thunderbolt as a gift.

Athena doesn't have a mom. Zeus ate her. Zeus got Metis, Athena's mom, pregnant. Zeus' grandmother told Zeus that after Metis had Athena, Metis would have a son that would destroy Zeus. So Zeus decided to eat her. That's why Athena came out of Zeus' head when it got chopped open.
Fact 4: Zeus is brothers with Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Hestia. Cronus ate Poseidon, Hades, Hera and Hestia because he was informed that one of his children would overtake him. Rhea, Zeus' mother, went to hide Zeus and gave Cronus a rock wrapped in a blanket.
Fact 5: Zeus was known to disguise himself as a human and he could shape shift into animals. He would disguise himself as a human and come down to Earth to check on the humans. He would see if they were behaving. He would also shape shift into animals because he was so good at shape shifting.
Fact 6: Odysseus used sheep to sneak out of Polyphemus' cave. Polyphemus was blocking the cave entrance and Odysseus noticed Polyphemus had sheep in his cave. So Odysseus told his men to tie themselves to the bottom of the sheep and then wait for the sheep to go outside to graze on the grass.

Hades tricked Persephone into eating the fruit of the dead. Since Persephone ate the fruit of the dead, she has to come down and stay with Hades half of the year. When Persephone would visit Hades, the leaves would die and the temperature would grow cold because she was sad. This is why we have spring time and winter.
I chose blue as my glitter text because Zeus controls the sky and the sky is blue. I wrote the facts in blue for the same reason. I chose to do half of my dramatic writing in yellow and half of it in blue because Zeus controls the sky. And the sky is blue and the sun is yellow.
